From 1987 to 2003, DJ 100.3 owned by Rajah Broadcasting Network played oldies hits live from RJ 100.3 in Manila. In the middle of 2003, it was sold to UMBN (University of Mindanao Broadcasting Network).
In the beginning of 2008, UMBN started broadcasting 100.3 Hit Radio. It plays the music from the past, from the 60s - 80s, delivered in dynamic pop-style by modern-sounding deejays. It has the same format as DJ 100.3. Because of its unique format, Hit Radio holds a special spot in a varied class of radio listeners from young adults to mature listeners.
Around September 2009, it was sold back to Rajah Broadcasting Network. In 2010, it brought the 95.5 frequency of WRocK from ACWS-United Broadcasting Network, Inc. & changed its brand name to 95.5 Classic Hit Radio.
Trans-Radio Broadcasting Corp. bought the 100.3 frequency started airing Rock 100.3.
